The Anime Last Stand crew just hit us with the SAO Update, and I’m freaking out over here! New units, an SAO raid that’ll make you sweat, a Saint Paddy’s event, and a tournament season to flex your skills – this patch is stacked!
Let’s check out this madness because I’ve been geeking out all day over it.
Saint Patrick’s Spectacular + QoL Glow-Up
First off, they’ve got this Saint Patrick’s Day event popping off with a Generous Wheel that’s dropping rare loot like it’s candy. Spin that bad boy and snag some exclusive goodies before it’s gone!
Plus, the QoL changes? Chef’s kiss. Transparent trade stats, a zippy spin wheel, 2x XP weekends (grind time, baby!), and mid-match restarts. Game’s feeling smoother than ever.
Unit Overload – 16 New Toys to Play With
They’re throwing 16 new units at us – 8 fresh Evo/Unevo baddies, 7 juiced-up existing units, and 1 rework. I got to mess around with some of these infernal boosted beasts (shoutout to my clan homies Lunchtray, Fable, Doggo, and Balling for letting me flex their units!). Here’s the rundown:
- Fused Kai Zamasu (Infernal Boosted): 3k placement, 8.76M every 2.79s off the rip. Divine Fusion passive stacks 1.5% damage per wave with NO CAP. Maxed out? 232M full AoE with a Wall of Light ability (5x damage burst + 1.5x multiplier for 30s). Corruption buffs his SPA and range while nerfing teammates a bit, but late-game leaderboard runs? This dude’s a monster.
- Guts (Infernal Boosted): 2k placement, 7.37M with hemorrhage ticking 140% extra. Indiscriminate Rage roars every 15 attacks, stunning up to 10 enemies and stacking damage/range buffs. Maxed at 929M + 1.3B hemorrhage? Bro, he’s a full AoE demon with 77 range. Guts mains eating GOOD.
- Gojo (Infernal Boosted): 2.5k placement, 12.8M every 5s. Infinity slows enemies in layered bubbles (10-30% depending on range), Black Sparks gives a 35% chance for 1.5x crits and cuts SPA on proc. Maxed at 672M with a 400B nuke + time stop via Unlimited Void? Support king vibes.
- Antz Monarch (Infernal Boosted): 1k placement, 2.55M with burn. Dragon Sphere roars every 100s for 10x damage and burn buffs, King of Fire juices up fire units by 15%. Maxed at 274M + 480M sunburn in a cone AoE. Niche burn support, but pair him with a Pride/Genos squad and watch the fireworks.
These infernal boosts are power-creeping the divine units HARD. Zamasu’s raw DPS, Guts’ hemorrhage insanity, Gojo’s utility, and Antz’s burn synergy – pick your poison, because they’re all cracked!
SAO Raid – Sword Art Online Vibes
The new SAO-themed raid is no joke. Uncharted maps, brutal enemies – you’re gonna need your A-game and a stacked team to survive this. I’m hyped to theorycraft some strats and see who can clutch it first. Who’s got a squad ready?!
